About the tour
The route starts in Bukhara and continues through Samarkand and Khiva. Intercity legs use high-speed rail and a comfortable car. The programme is the same for foreign guests and Uzbek citizens.

On to Samarkand
Afrosiyob train to Samarkand and a tour of Registan Square.

Summer temperatures exceed 40°C — bring a hat and water. Modest dress is advised at mosques and madrasahs. Cash is in soum; cards are accepted at main venues.
